Tradition is Thanksgiving is always at our house. This was our first thanksgiving at our new house so it was a little different. We just have to get used to it considering we spent 11 Thanksgivings at our old house. My Aunt came from Guatemala and My Cousin and her daughter came from New York. So it was a full house. Theres nothing like Family getting together and enjoying ALOT of food : ), I have made the turkey the past 3 years. This year I decided to go with a new recipe... It came out better than my older recipe and everyone enjoyed it.

Trick R' Treat
This Halloween was very different from others. It was on a Saturday and me and my mom had to work so whe really didn't get to hand out to much candy or dress up, plus it was raining and only about 10 kids ended up coming for candy. Anyways we celebrated Halloween on Friday, Juancho's Cousin had a Halloween Party at her house, so we decided to go all out with the costumes. All Home Made I might add. Karla (Me and Juancho helped) made hers and Juanchos. I made mine and my mom made hers. Here are some pics from the party...

Dear, Mr. President....
A while back i wrote President Obama, on an issue that i am very passionate about. Immigration reform is something that he promised to do and must be done as soon as possible. I didn't expect to hear back from him since he is so busy. But a couple a weeks ago I was shocked when i got the mail i saw a letter from the White House with my name on it. I opened and it was from President Obama, the letter is typed up (of course) but its actually signed by him. You can clearly tell its not printed or stamped, its signed with pen. Here are some shots of it....

Salazar Family Reunion
I haven't had time to post, but finally here they are. We went to Lake Anna and had the our first Family Reunion. Of course not everyone was there. We have family in Guatemala, Las Vegas, California and New York. Hopefully next year they will be able to join us. We got there Saturday and left around noon on Sunday. We all had a great time, even though it did storm on us and things got all muddy, but... that's camping!!
Now we have to plan next years :), maybe we can do it in Vegas!!
